Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Live in boyfriend was arrested for domestic violence. Was arrested April 26 th of 2013. Plea sentence has been pushed back number if times, now it's set for October. I have been talking to him on the phone. But I know it won't work out between us, I know it will happen again. Do I need a lawyer and should I move out of the area .

You should have received a call from the prosecutor. You can ask them to do a two year protective order keeping him away from you. You can also ask that if he receives probation, that as a condition of his probation he be ordered to have no contact and stay away from you.
Quit taking calls from him and get counseling.
