Hello there,

My office has a traffic ticket division that handles citations state wide.

The majority of the time you do not have to appear in court and there are things that can be done so you do not have any drivers license consequences.

If you have any questions feel free to contact my office.

Sincerely,

Erick Platten

You do risk a driver's license suspension after conviction for MIC. Whether you must personally appear in court is dependent upon how the judge runs their court. My recommendation is to obtain a defense attorney in the county where you received the ticket to help you resolve the case.

Yes, your license is on the line since it is alcohol and you are a minor. Unfortunately, you and your parents will more than likely have to appear even if you hire an attorney, but you need to hire one as soon as possible. You can check out my website at www.dwitexaslawyer.com. Good Luck,
