Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Obtaining an expungement record

Is it possible to obtain a notice of final disposition if you case was expunged? I need to document for federal employment, so I disclosed the case, but now I'm wondering if the court would even have the document available. It was in Bexar County, San antonio, TX.

Re: Obtaining an expungement record

You'll need to write to the criminal clerk of court in Bexar Co. and they probably have your records still now days but in the past they probably didn't keep records of minor offenses more than ten years or so. If an attorney did the expungment then get them to give you confirmation. Otherwise, the clerk will tell you what is available, unless you want to have an attorney handle this.

If your case was expunged, you did not have to disclosed anything.
