Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Someone passed me a counterfeit bill and i was taken to jail for it...they were trying to charge me with a felony...but i fought it...they offered me a class A misd. if i completed deferred probation for a year....can i get this sealed after im done with probation

You should talk with your lawyer about this situation. If you did not know that you had a phony bill, then you are not guilty of anything. (If it looks phony & you passed it, then it would be for a trier of fact to decide.)

Why don't you talk to them about doing a pre-trial diversion?

If you take a misdemeanor deferred, you can have it sealed but this does not seal it from law enforcement nor any licensing agencies. It is of limited value (though I highly recommend it if one has completed a deferred. It is certainly better than nothing.)
