Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Past Feloinies

I have some past felonies that are affecting me from getting jobs in refineries. I'm currently employed with a good company but there will will times when I will need to go into the refineries which I'm unable to do to my past convictions. I've been clean for quite sometime and have recently bought a new home. Is there anything that I can do to get these cleared from the public eye so that I can move on with my life and my career? I'm from Texas.

Re: Past Feloinies

Since you are speaking of multiple charges, probably not, especially if these are convictions. It is possible, however, but will depend specifically on the age of the charges and the exact outcomes. Get copies of your files from the clerk and consult with a lawyer.

Re: Past Feloinies

Based on what you have written, there may be two possibilites for clearing or restricting access to your criminal record. Expunction and non-disclsoure are the two potential rememdies available to you. The outcome will ultimately depend upon what the priors were. If my criminal defense law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial consultation.
