Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

polygraph test

Iam afraid of taking a polygraph at work because. I have read that they can give a false-positive answer. I don't think that ot would fair to me. They might believe the test What can happen to me if I refuse to take it? I would rather them investigate me.

Hello there,

In Texas unless you have a contract with your employer you can be fired at will.

It sounds as if a fishing expeditions is going on.

If you take the test it cannot be used against you in court because it is not admissible. So, if you refuse to take it they can fire you.

If you refuse to clean a toilet properly they can fire you.

Basically they can fire you for anything outside of discrimination.

There is an old country song out there called, "Take this job and shove it".

Maybe you need some inspiration to get a new J-O-B.

Life is short, stop taking crap off everyone.
