Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I've been scamed

I answered an ad for a job of warehouse clerk, I checked out thier web site looked legit. I signed a contract and they have my drivers license number. I am not sure what they are doing with my license number, because they can't get any credit cards with it. They had me send one pair of shoes to Russia. He emailed the custom papers from the post office. I feel so stupid I checked the shoes out to make sure they were ok and repacked the box. I Have not taken any money what so ever from these people. Before I saw a news letter yesterday, I had no idea that I was scamed. I have all the emails this guy sent me, including the sales slip that was in the shoes. I had no idea what was going on and now I am scared to death, I have never been in trouble with the law. UPS tried to deliver another package today, I told him to return to sender. What do I do now? Oh yea, after I read the article from the United States Postal Inspectors, I tried to bring up the web site again it no longer exists, I do have a phone number that this guy was using. He is in Atlanta GA. Help what do I do?

What to do now depends upon how involved you wish to get. If you want to straighten out the problem (including your possible id being stolen) go to the federal authorities to report the incident. You should take a lawyer with you, inasmuch as there is probably far more to this story.
