If your son was out on bond and missed his court day, the court will issue a warrant for his arrest. The court could end up forfeiting the bond, which means that his bondsman will have to pay the bond to the court. Whoever cosigned the bond will have to pay the bondsman.

It is too coincidental that the charges were dropped on the case he forgot to show up in court.

It is against the law to possess certain drugs. I have never heard of someone being charged for having drugs in their system.

I think your son needs a lawyer

It sounds like the court has decided to revoke his bond on the basis that he failed to appear in court and that he had drugs in his system. Either of these things can cause his bond to be pulled. Your son needs to get an attorney ASAP.
