Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Theft of service in TX
We are building a house and our cabinet man required 1/2 down. We paid him 6 mths. ago and we have no cabinets. He won't answer our calls. I did get a hold of him from another number and he hung up on me. The interest is running and my house is just sitting. Nothing can be done without the cabinets. How can I get the product or my money back?

There are some jurisdictions that would accept this as a theft case, but not many. It sounds like this is a civil debt, and you will have to sue him to get your money back.
