Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I got into some trouble when I was 17. I was offered deferred adjudication as it was a first time offense. I was told at the time that this would not be held against me in the future as long as I didn't get into any more trouble and I finished my probation. I am now 23 years old and am having a hard time getting a job because of my record. I have done everything I have been told to do, I have not been in any trouble since this arrest in 2007. I have completed all my community service, ahead of time, paid my fines and will have my probation completely paid off by the end of this month. What do I need to do to prevent this from remaining on my record?
