Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Me and my wife traveled to my mother in laws and got in real late and I left my pistol in my truck in which I have my chl and my wife got up early the next day and went to the store and got pulled over and the charged her with unlawfull carry of a weapon..can this stick even thou she had no knowledge of it being left in truck from the previous night

It can "stick" unless she hires a good lawyer who can provide the prosecutor (if that person is reasonable) with a good reason to dismiss. (The State can argue that she knew it was in the car before and she did not take care to make sure it was not in the car before she drove it.....)
