Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I worked for a trucking company that has around 12 to 17 employees. It varies. The place is like a revolving door lately. In the last 9 months the owner has started lying, cheating and stealing. I was terminated for refusing to deceive TWC over a fired employee. I had been Office Mgr for 8 yrs. Two of our biggest clients over paid invoices by $7800.00 and $4500.00. He asked me to make up a fake invoice. I refused. He has his accountant do it for him. I have the proof. If I go to these two clients and show them the proof, can my ex employer do anything to me?

First, what do you mean, 'do anything to you' ? If you have a a reasonable fear for your safety, because you have been threatened, that needs to be reported to law enforcement. If you stole documents from the company, you could face liability, and should discuss all of these concerns, including the whistleblower termination, with an attorney in confidence.

An attorney will be able to gather all of the facts and advise you on the appropriate people and manner to contact.
