Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Texas

I live in the state of Texas. I'm 15 and my boyfriend is 18. As of now, my parents consent to our relationship, but they do not know I'm pregnant. If when they find out I am pregnant, can they no longer consent to the relationship, and prosecute my boyfriend?

You'll want to look at the current version of section 22.011 of the Texas Penal Code.

Your parents can withdraw their consent to the relationship, but what your boyfriend did is not a crime.

The "three years or less difference in age between the boy and girl" defense is an affirmative defense. It doesn't bar arrest and prosecution. It is an issue that the defense must raise at trial.
