I was convicted of first offense dwi over a year and a half ago. Yet I've never been sentenced. Is there a statute of limitation for this? Or can this mess continue to drag on for many years?

The statute of limitations was tolled when you were charged. Talk with your lawyer because it makes NO sense you were "convicted" but have not been sentenced.
