In order to get bonded out of jail, you have to pay the full amount of the bond into the registry of the court "cash bond" or contract with a bail bondsman "surety bond" or apply for a personal recognizance bond. A PR bond is simply a low cost surety bond.. If you did none of these, he cannot be released from jail. The reason is that he has "no bond".

The person who gave you the numbers was giving you the amount of the bond that your cousin would have to have in order to get out of jail.

If the person giving you the numbers told you that there was no bond, it is possible that he is being held in jail for another reason such as a warrant in another county.

Instead of looking up the case on your own, I suggest you call the court clerk. If you are told there is no bond, ask why..
