Legal Question in Elder Law in Texas

My mother recently moved into subsidized senior housing and is selling her homestead. We are concerned that she may lose her SSI, SS, food stamp assistance, medicare, and or qualification for subsidized housing. It's not a large amount of money, about 30k. Is there a trust we can set up? Or can someone tell me what amount of money she can have without jeopardizing her benefits.

Thanks.

There are regulations for each of these programs. Suggest you contact the attorney who helped her set these programs up. This should have been done before she moved or put her house on the market.
