Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I'm 17 and I was wondering if I try to leave my parents house can I get into trouble? Im a good kid I stay out of trouble I'm all about school. I want to live with my grandma till I turn 18 but my parents aren't okay with that, so can I leave with out getting into trouble?

No. Your parents can report you as a runaway and your grandmother can get in trouble for harboring you.

Instead of saying you want to move until you're 18, ask them if you can just give it a trial until Christmas. If it's going well, they can let you stay. If it's not, they can make you come back. When you discuss it with them, make sure you present it in a way that makes them believe that they are always 100% in control of the situation.
