Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child changing residence

i have recently had my daughter come to live with me. she has been wanting to do this for a while now. she has been here a week. we have her enrolled into school.her mother called us at about 3:10 pm on feb. 10th and told us to come and pick her up she did not let her have any of her clothes and said she was not signing anything and not to contact her she would call us when she was ready.my question is how can we change this to where we are not having to pay child support to her? my daughter is 12 and does not want to go back there to live.your law office has records of this case david has helped with support modifications before. also the attorney general is suppose to take me to court sometime this month to try to raise the support? what steps do we need to take we can not afford to pay alot of money at once. thank you

Re: child changing residence

This note was posted on the general board, so I do not have any records of this file. If you are looking for a particular attorney, please review your file to determine who you might have used in the past.

It seems that you need a motion to modify the prior order filed in your case. You may wish to discuss the matter with an attorney in private.
