child custody

The father of my child and i were never married. my daughter has been going to visit him every weekend for three years. nothing was ever on paper. til one day he decided to take her and not give her back. its almost been 4 months and now he wants to draw up his own legal papers and is asking for soul full custody and i dont think this is right. im the mother she needs to be with me. what do i do?

A court will decide who the child lives with based upon what the court finds to be in the child's best interest. Visit an attorney.
