What qualifications do I (the father) need to meet in order to gain custody of my son?

Judge Moore from Lockhart uses the old 3 prong test:

1. When the child is hurt who does he run to?

2. Who feeds him breakfast?

3. Who goes to the PTA meetings?

As a dad you have to have a stable home, a stable enviornment and stable relationships.

If you live in Central Texas (between Austin adn San Antonio) please call me.

Without knowing more, the general answer to your question is that the judge would have to find that making you either the possessory conservator or the sole managing conservator would be in the best interests of the child. If you provide me with more facts, I can give a more specific answer.
