i have custody of my daughter and just established paternity of the father can i get child support even though he has custody of our son and i am in the rears on that order i owe support too to this same man

Yes you are entitled to child support for the daughter. You need to be making payments on the current and arrearage for your son.
You may be able to negotiate this with the other party, but since dad has a court order, you need one as well.
