Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child support mix up

My husband is having a problem with his child support issues. He was ordered to pay support plus back child support through Guardian Ad Litem which he was doing but his ex girlfriend had another support case open with the attorney generals office. She signed a paper to get it off his credit and the attorney generals records but she didn't send it in fast enough and now he is being garnished wages from the attorney generals office. He is only being garnished regular child support and not back child support. Plus, what my husband owes in back child support through gaurdian ad litem is accruing interest. We have tried to contact both agencies but they won't do anything. This has turned into a nightmare and my husband is paying support. What should we do?
