child support

If u want child support and the father's name on the birth certificate is not actually the father, does he still have to pay?

I can't answer based on the limited information you sent.

If there has been a man found to be by a court of law to be the father, then that person should be paying child support.

If the birth certificate is wrong, then a lawsuit needs to be filed to have the proper man declared to be the father and change the birth certificate.
