Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child visitation

My husband is in the Army and has been deployed. He has named me the adult to pick up and surrender the children while he is away. However their mother has refused to allow me to see the children. And said that I will not be allowed to see them until he can pick them up himself. Do I have any rights at all as his wife, or do I just have to not see the girls for his entire deployment.

Re: Child visitation

This depends on the language in the court document. Generally the right to visit your husband's children is his right. Nameing you as the adult to pick up and surrender the children is for the purposed of taking the children to visit their father. You should hire an attorney to review the docuemts for you.
