or we common law married

im saperted from my husband ,i lived with another man for over a year .or we common law married ?and he owes my money can i hold his property or put a lein on his auto ,till i get what he owes me .i have nothing in writing .

If you are married to one person, then you cannot be married to another person.

It does not matter what you did to have a common law marriage, it won't exist if you are currently married to another man.

You can sue him in small claims court. Go to the closest courthouse by your residence and see what they require to file for a small claims lawsuit.

No, you are not common law married to him if you are still married to your husband. If you do not have a contract then I do not recommend holding property as you could be charged with a crime.
