Can I get custody of my grand daughter if I am a felon

Yes. I don't know that you will, but you can. It would have a lot to do with the type of felony. Just by way of contrast, if it were a very recent child-related felony, you would probably lose. If it were felony theft that you comitted 30 years ago, I wouldn't expect it to have much impact on your chances. I'm sure your issue is somewhere between those two extremes.
