Dad in colo needs help from TX lawer

i got a order to apear in a tx. court for a restraining order.they gave me 7 days to find legal aide and be there.

if i go, i loose my job. i dont go, in trouble w/tx.

co. lawers cant help and i cant find a tx lawer that will.

i dont make much money and cant afford to go.

i loose my job and i cant pay child support.

i dont want to loose my rights as a father and im lost.

can you help?

You need to retain a lawyer in the County in which the restraining order is pending. This may cost money, but that is what you have to do to protect your rights. Otherwise you will have to appear personally and try to represent yourself against a lawyer who does this work every day.

You need to provide more information. What county is the case pending? There are ways to obtain low-cost legal assistance. What is the restraining order for? I am somewhat confused since you live and work outside of the state, what is she restraining you from? If you could provide additional information, I may be able to provide additional guidance. TCL
