Re: Decree Divorce

A "Final Decree of Divorce" is the actual document that the judge signs to finalize divorce proceedings. It is what people commonly call "divorce papers." The document contains all of the orders of the court with regard to divorce, custody, property, etc.. After the judge signs it, the document is filed with the district clerks office and the divorce becomes official.
