Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Getting a divorce, no children involved. We agree to share assets and debts equally. I have a lot and mobile home that is considered separate property. Do I have to claim it as separate property or can I claim it as community property by choice?

Separate property is property you had prior to the marriage, received as a gift, or inherited. You do not have to claim separate property as separate property. The presumption in Texas is that all marital property is community property.
