divorce with a disabled child

where can I find the laws to protect my disabled child in a divorce? The father is an alcoholic who will not get help and is a danger to child when drinking.

The laws are already there and have been for many years. If you're trying to do this by yourself, start in the Texas Family Code. I would suggest you get a lawyer to assist you in this matter. Good Luck.
