Divorce

I am filing for divorce after three years of marriage, the last year we have been separated. He is very bad with money and does not pay back debt. Can I put in the divorce papers some kind of all inclusive language such as ''he is responsible for all debt incurred during the marriage and I am responsbile for all debt I incurred during the marriage, rather than spelling out every debt? What happens if he doesn't tell me about debt and then it comes up after the divorce?

You can put in any language you want. The more specific, the easier it is to seek contempt if he doesn't pay (and I bet a nickel he doesn't). If he doesn't, expect the creditors to come after you. They are not a party to the divorce and not bound by the language you use - whatever it says.
