Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I want to get a divorce from my husband. i sent him the divorce sice two years ago and he dose not want to sign it.we have not seen each other since those two years. can i gt the divorce with out his signature? i dont know anthing about him anymore i dont hve a address i dont knowwat to do

You don't say where you live.

In order to divorce him, you must give him NOTICE of the pending lawsuit (divorce). If you can find him, then you need to have a process server or constable SERVE him with a set of the legal papers.

If you don't know where he is, then you must do a DIVORCE BY PUBLICATION. Each county does these a bit different. Harris County is very strict on locating a spouse with the internet. I've been appointed many times to find the "missing spouse". You would have to pay this attorney's legal fees - starting at $500 - up in Harris County.

If you have his full legal name, security number and date of birth, I might be able to find him. It would cost you $150 approx.
