Married for 8 months. never lived together. other than of visiting each other for total of 20 days. The property owned before marriage and earniing after marriage in Texas how it works. What happens to inherited property. No children involved

All property acquired before marriage and inherited is separate property. Property acquired during the marriage is community. If the property was commingled, it will be necessary to trace it to prove it has retained separate character.
