Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was divorced and my husband won custody last year. He is supposed to fly her from Houston to El Paso to see me one weekend a month and one month in the summer. He sent her the first summer, summer of 2009, but never sent her on her monthly visits. I do not know who or where to go to since I have depleted all of my funds on divorce and custody fees ($15,000). All legal matters were settled in Houston. I am broke and do not have a cent to my name. Is there anybody who can help me free of charge to get my daughter for the visits I am entitled to?

Unfortunately, your remedy is to file a motion for contempt in Harris County (I assume that the divorce was granted in Houston). It will cost you money, and it will be a lot of trouble (I know how far it is from El Paso to Houston), but if you hit him hard, he won't forget it, and he won't try to get away with this again.

In connection with a motion for contempt, you can ask for jail time AND attorney's fees.
