Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex and I divorced in Texas in 2006. We were married for 17 years and I was a stay at home mom of two children. Our divorce was settled in mediation. My ex's pension was mentioned but I had no idea what it was worth and my attorney led me to agree that if I didn't have to pay child support as the kids were staying with their dad (because of school) then I would agree to no part of the pension. Now, these years later, I feel I was misrepresented and should have received part of the pension in the divorce. Do I have a case or has too much time passed? Thank you.

If the divorce decree specifically awards 100% of the pension to your former spouse, it is too late to do anything about it. If the decree does not mention the pension, then the Texas Family Code provisions for dividing undivided assets may offer you some hope.
