My ex-husband and his wife continue to harrash, threaten and verbaly abuse me infront of my children. is there anything that i can do?

Step 1: Get a video camera. Step 2: Have witnesses present any time you know that they will be coming to your house. Step 3: Record your own telephone conversations with them (it's legal, and you don't need their permission - you don't even have to tell them you're doing it).

Amass enough evidence, and file a motion to modify whatever order you're under - you want the Judge to insert an order that prohibits harrassment and making derogatory remarks, etc.

In the meantime, write them a letter - a paper letter, not an email, not a phone call - and express your concerns. Something along these lines:

Dear Jeff and Susan,

I am concerned about the attitude you display and the way you talk to me in front of Rodney. It is inappropriate for you to insult me and make accusations when the child is present. If you wish to have these types of conversations, we will have them in private, when Rodney is out of earshot. This is not negotiable.

If I have to mention this again, I will file a motion to modify our custody order, and will ask the Court to order you to pay my attorney's fees.
