A friend found out that his minor son is being hospitalized for drug abuse. Is wife won't tell him where...any recourse?

What does the court order say? If he is entitled to information regarding his son's medical welfare, then he can petition the court for the information. If it does not, then he needs to petition for an emergency modification.
