Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Grandmother's Will
My Grandmother is 80. Her husband passed away 15 years ago. My Grandmother had 3 children. 1 brother, 1 sister, and my mother (who also passed away 10 years ago). After my mother passed my Grandmother took me aside and told me that she wanted my mothers 3rd to go to me. She also told me that her other 2 remaining children had tried, unsuccessfully, to coerce her into cutting my mothers part of her inheritance (which would of course go to me) out of the will. I have recently found out that over the course of the 10 years since my mother has passed that they have worn her down. Apparently the will has been changed from its original form to one where only my uncle and aunt would inherit. Is there any legal recourse I can take to rectify this? My Grandmother is still alive but her mind and body are frail and I dont want to cause her any stress over this. I would however like to see justice done.

Re: Grandmother's Will
You need to talk to an attorney that specializes in probate matters.
If she wrote the will, it will control.
The burden would be on you to prove that they somehow forced her to change her prior will.
What she told you in private is irrelevant since she then went ahead and changed the will.
It was probably executed in front of a notary and witnesses.
You need to talk to your grandmother.
She might not be competent to now change her will.
You are asking a very difficult question that cannot be answered via an email.
