Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex husband has legal custody of our two daughters and he won't allow me to see them or talk to them. Our case was handled in Arkansas but we both live in Texas now. What can I do to be able to see my girls again?

Register the Arkansas order as a foreign judgment in Texas and then sue him to enforce the foreign judgment asking the court to put him in jail.

You'll need an attorney to do this because enforcement matters are very technical and one small mistake can result in him getting away with it.

Make sure you are doing exactly what the order says. For example, if it says you are to pick up the children at 6pm on Friday from his house, then you must go there at that time and attempt to get them. If he sends you a message saying, "Don't bother coming over because I'm not going to let you see the children," and then you don't go try to pick them up exactly as the order says, then he has NOT violated the order.

If the order specifies a place for exchanging the children that is in Arkansas, then you also need to file a motion to modify the order.
