Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my husband is paying child support of his 2 kids that live in Virginia now and we are still in Texas. His daughter has summer school now and can't attend the 42 days out of summer that's set in the court order... He can still get her after her summer school is over with right?

Read the order; it will tell you what you need to know. It probably orders Mom to surrender the children on a certain date at a certain time .... not at some other date or time, and NOT contingent on summer school.

He should approach Mom NOW and tell her that he plans to come pick up the children after the daughter finishes summer school ("I'll be there on July 18 at 4:00 pm"), and see what Mom's reaction is.
