Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Regarding an Inheritance

Without getting into the background....my father had a trust fund in his name. When he passed away we were contacted and asked to provide personal information to get us the trust fund. It has now been over a year. I have sent serveral certified letters asking for information on the trust fund as well as the lawyer whom is taking care of this matter. I have yet to hear back. I would like to know what I can do if anything to get this going. Any info you can give would be great. Thank you.

Re: Regarding an Inheritance

Obviously certified letters are not working. What information do you have that you might be a contingent beneficiary of your father's trust? If that information is reliable and you have lost out on 1 year's proceeds, then you need to do something to get your money and stop the diversion of funds (if any). One very effective way of doing that is to file a lawsuit against the trustee and demand an accounting.
