Joint custody...Extracurricular Activities

Are father's obligated to take part in any part of child's extracurricular activities. My husband's exwife signs his kids up for all types of extracurricular activities on our time. No family plans can ever be made cause of these extracurricular activites. She told us attorney general stated he need to comply or else...

This is a difficult area, and viewed differently by different judges. If it cannot be resolved amicably between the parties, then a judge will probably order that dad's time is dad's time, and if the kid misses out on stuff, then that is too bad. In these situations, the kid usually gets punished. Maybe it can be resolved through mediation -- if not file an enforcement petition.
