Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

juvenile restitution

Can a parent who is divorced (but has joint managing conservatorship) of a 15 y/o child be forced to pay financial restitution for a crime the child comitted while in the possession/custody of the other parent? What are the non-custodial parent's legal options?
