I am considering leaving my husband and asking for a divorce. I want to stat in our rental home and keep my dogs. We have no children or assests. I am worried that he might get violent. What are my options?

Your life is more important than anything else. You can get a restraining order but it's only a piece of paper -- it cannot protect you from fists, knives or bullets.
