I am 18 years old and my parents are trying to make me go on a vacation that if I go, I will lose my job. Can they legally do that?

Re: Legal age to be an adult

At 18 you are an adult, (17 for purposes of criminal laws). There could be an unusual circumstance where a court determines you are not competent and appoints an actual guardian, but you would have been served, appointed an attorney, and know about those guardianship proceedings.
