Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Modification of Suit Affecting Parent Child Relationship

My orders state that child's father is allowed no contact with him. In four days father will be paroled to residence where child stays. What can be done about this blatant disregard of the court orders? I am a joint-managing conservator with child's paternal grandmother.

First and foremost, it apparently means you have four days to pack your stuff and move with your child to a hotel, an apartment, a friend or relative, at least until this is sorted out.

Then you need a lawyer to file another modification or at least a clarification to establish guidelines now that dad has been paroled into the same home.

Not knowing the circumstances you are in, the parole officer obviously needs to be aware of the living situation.

You can ask the court to grant emergency temporary orders. In Harris County, you'll be lucky to get in front of a judge within 2 weeks!
