How can my mom get joint custody of my son if I was to pass on?

If in the event of my death how can I go about haveing my mom have joint custody of my youngest son with his father? Can I just write a whell of testament or so I have to go through the courts?

Also my oldest sons Father is not around and dose not have joint custody of him (I do not know who the father is with him) can I just write a whell of testament for him saying I want my mom to have custody of him?

Will someone please help me and let me know what I can do. I do not have much money so I cant do much there. I am not receving child support on eather one. The dad to the youngest is not paying his court orderd child support.

Custody of children must go through the court because they are not like cars or jewelry. If you need help with this, contact your local county bar associataion. There are usually lawyers there who will help.
