Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I need to move out of state. Do I need to notify the courts of my move? Does my daughter's father need to provide the court with proof I notified him? In other words is there a legal form to use for this agreement?

If you read your last legal document it probably contains language that states you must notify the court and the other parent that you moved. There is no form. Just type a letter that includes the date & your cause numbers & everyone's name in the "subject" line so that the court can add it to your file. The letter can be addressed to more than one person & you can mail it certified copy, return receipt requested and keep the receipt to show that you mailed it. You can also email and/or text him but keep a copy of these too.

I hope that answers your question.
