Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was not notified of court date for divorce, and received letter that divorce was finalized by default because I was not present. And the decree that was submitted by husband was not something we agreed upon (he avoided discussing decree with me and/or mediate). Is there anything I can do?

.

You can file a Motion for New Trial, but you must do so without delay (I believe no later than 30 days after the judgment was signed, but confirm that with a local lawyer).

YOU NEED A LAWYER TO HELP WITH A MOTION FOR NEW TRIAL!

Contact a local lawyer immediately.

Good Luck!
