Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Parental Rights ..

My son is two years old, and his father isn't around much. He complains about taking care of him and if he pays child support its maybe about 50 dollars at a time. I asked him if he wanted his rights terminated and he told me he would do it. But, is there any way he can terminate his rights, without someone adopting my son.

Re: Parental Rights ..

It would depend on the Judge you get.

In Harris County, the judges won't bastardize a child.

Why? Dad could win the lottery. If you die your child is an orphan. Parents need to support their children -- not the State of Texas taxpayers.

I could go on and on.

If you have court ordered child support, file contempt. Eventually, he will go to jail.
